Viruses of Herpes simplex, herpes zoster, adenoviruses, viruses of infectious warts and molluscum contagiosum are also sensitive to the action of dioxo tetrahydro tetrahydronaphthalene.
When applied to the mucous membrane, up to 20% of the product is absorbed. It does not accumulate in the body and is excreted mainly by the kidneys during the day.
