Dosage form "gel for external use" allows you to apply a smaller dose of the product on a large surface of the skin, including covered with hair, and also used in patients who are hypersensitive to the ointment base.

Adult patients

For adults and children over 2 years of age, a small amount of the product is applied to the skin in a thin layer and rubbed lightly (for adults, at the beginning of therapy in acute conditions, 2 to 3 times a day, then therapy is continued no more than 1-2 times a day; children over 2 years old - 1 per day).

The gel is preferably used for dry forms of dermatoses. The duration of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and the effectiveness of therapy, usually no more than 2 weeks; in particular, on the skin of the face - no more than 5 days. During the week, you can use no more than 1 tube of ointment (15 grams). Do not use the gel under an occlusive dressing; if necessary, apply a bandage - use a bandage made of breathable materials.

Children and teenagers

Gel Flucinar® is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age. In children, due to a higher ratio of body surface area to body weight than in adults, dysfunction of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system can more easily develop and adverse reactions characteristic of corticosteroids, including growth and developmental delay. In children older than 2 years, Flucinar® gel should be used with great care, the minimum effective doses, only once a day on small areas of the skin under the supervision of a doctor, in short courses (no more than 5 days); should not be used on the face.

If there is no improvement after treatment, or symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, you should consult your doctor. Use the product only according to the method of application and in those doses that are indicated in the instructions for use.

• Hypersensitivity to fluocinolone acetonide (or any glucocorticosteroid) or other components of the product;

• Bacterial, fungal, and viral skin infections;

• Acne, rosacea;

• Perioral dermatitis;

• Anogenital itching;

• Syphilis;

• Tuberculosis of the skin;

• Skin cancer;

• Burns, wounds, trophic ulcers of the lower leg;

• Post-vaccination reactions;

• Pregnancy;

• Period of breastfeeding;

• Children's age up to 2 years (no data on safety and efficacy).

Carefully

• Application to large areas of skin, damaged skin, the use of large doses, as well as long-term product therapy (especially in children older than 2 years).

• Application to the skin of the face, areas with thin skin and intertriginous skin (skin folds, armpits, groin, folds of the arms and legs).

• Application to the skin around the eyes or eyelids (risk of developing glaucoma, cataracts), including in patients with glaucoma or cataracts.

• Atrophic changes in the subcutaneous tissue, especially in the elderly.

• In girls during puberty.

The product is contraindicated for use during pregnancy.

Breast-feeding.

Breastfeeding for the period of treatment with the product is recommended to stop, because. it is not known to what extent fluocinolone acetonide, when applied topically, passes into breast milk. Only in exceptional cases, after consulting a doctor, the product can be used for a short time and on limited areas of the skin. If necessary, the use of the product - it is necessary to stop breastfeeding. It is not recommended to use the product on the skin of the mammary glands.
